THE UNITED STATES ARMY
After losing his father at the age of 18, Daniel enlists in the US Army, hungry for guidance and direction. Unbeknownst to Daniel, he would be stationed in one of the hottest zones in the Iraq war at the time.
A PROMISE TO A FRIEND
Daniel made a promise to one of his comrades lost during the Battle of Kamdesh. He promised him that if he were to make it home, he would make it to a Division 1 football program and perform at the highest level.
